Downloading Music off Myspace: Using Firebug

Published by UltraYeah at 7:51 pm under Computer Lingo

Tired of constantly visiting your favorite musician’s Myspace page to listen to your favorite single? Well now you can download them in a matter of seconds, using Firebug and Windows Media Player.

#1. Download the Firebug plugin for the Firefox Browser. This is a useful tool for determining what things you’re downloading from the site. It’s mainly used for configuration of website, such as fixing the css. You can download it here.

#2. After you install Firebug, you should see the Firebug icon on the lower right side of the browser. Right click it and enable it; also you can it open it in a new window for convenience.
Right Click Firebug

#3. Visit the Myspace page you want music out off of. If you have firebug open you should see a list of stuff that you’re downloading from the site. The major thing you should see is a big file, usually more than 2mbs.

#4. Right click the location and copy it.

    Shannon, try this instead: http://u.l.3.g.aimini.net/download/?fid=g3lumk9yMv04Zfu6vm10

After downloading it, just open it and enter the friend ID of the band, it’ll bring up a list of songs, click the one you want and you’re done. Let me know if that works.
