Red Bull is giving props to the best breakers in the New York area at the Red Bull PROPS Breakdance Event. The battle goes down at the Rochester Institute of Technology Clark Gym at Jefferson Road, Henrietta, NY on April 12, 2008 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The renowned Rochester, NY DJ duo Discolobos will man the wheels of steel as Syracuse native, B-Boy Kaos, of the internationally known Zero Gravity breakdance battles, hosts the event. Approximately 32 breakers will scrimmage one-on-one displaying their skills in a showdown. Then test their overall creativity and funky-fresh skills of using Red Bull props in a mock classroom set-up during their freestyle routine. The finalists of the one-on-one battle will then face-off, and the winners of each part the event will receive a Playstation 3 console. In 2002, the first Zero Gravity battle took place at a small dance studio in Shoppingtown mall, Syracuse, NY. Since then, the annual event has generated the attendance of well over 500 spectators, breakdance enthusiasts, and breaking crews from all over the world.
