Dumbest “Sport” Ever: Paintballing

Published by NO at 10:58 pm under Rant

Who pays to get shot? People that love to paintball! Sure it doesn’t hurt, but it seems to me to be one of the dumbest things to do. Some of these guys are so obsessed with it that they will spend hundreds, if not thousands of dollars on gun and suits. And don’t forget they have to pay for CO2 tanks and the brilliant paint balls.

I can picture it now: Some guy in a trailer park is bored after picking up his check from McDonald’s and is sick and tired of not being shot at. He wonders for hours on his couch surrounded by his 15 kids all named Cletus with Jerry Springer blaring in the background and has it! He will fill balls with paint and tell some one to shoot him. Brilliant!

Not only does the paying to get shot thing get me mad, but the fact that these guys think they’re tough! Paintballing has fewer injuries than tennis, golf, and bowling. Bowling! The next time you have $20 laying around, please don’t go paintballing. If you’re so desperate for a shoot out go to the hood. I’m sure you’ll have plenty of company, and it’s free too!

Obviously, you have no idea what a sport is. Paintball is a genuine sport, backed by dozens of Leagues internationally, with clear cut objectives and rules.

What you’re describing in your article is the same someone saying “Football is the stupidest sport in the world, all you do is kick a ball around, and it’s a complete waste of time and money, because there’s really no objective.” Which is a completely uninformed statement, as both football, paintball and every other sport out there have clear cut objectives and rules (Even golf, for chrissakes).

Right from the second that paintball became a sport, the professional players have been trying to promote it, but they barely succeed because idiots like you regurgitate the usual disgusting uninformed statements, which after review sound like someone who has never played the game before in their life. (People are switching away from CO2, get with the program…)

Oh, and before you start arguing that paintball isn’t a sport, you might want to search up “paintball” on Wikipedia and read the first four words of the article.

To be honest to sounds like you have never played paintball before..Honestly! I;ve been playing for years and nothing you said made any sense…suit up and spent that $20 before you write a review on something..

Secondly as with ANY sport you can spend as much money as you want to. Hunters by guns that cost $1000 when a simple shotgun will do. Golfers spend $500 on a putter…and little chunk of metal to knock a ball around..Same with paintball. You can usually play the entire day for about $30. And you get a GREAT workout to boot. Less then you would spend on golf, and have you tried to buy a decent baseball bat in the past 5 years? those are gonna run ya more then any half decent gun would.

Basically my point is that paintball is pretty much exactly like every other sport, some people find it extremely fun, others hate it.

P.S. Doesn’t hurt? let me crank up my PSI to about 700 and lets go play some speedball….oh…of course you have no idea what i’m talking about……
