America’s Best Dance Crew is a popular dance show on MTV. Basically, it’s an elimination tournament with 12 professional dance crews. These dancers really know how to choreograph their dances and perform them flawlessly: Every show the judges have to eliminate one crew and it’s always really hard to decide. These dancers on this show are highly skilled. Watch their videos and play it in slow motion: The moves might seem easy, but actually are really hard to do; once you realize that, you’ll appreciate this art more!
Kaba Modern is one of my favorite dance crews. The group consists of three guys and girls. They are from University of California, Irvine and most of them go to school, talk about multitasking! The first dance they did, on the show, blew everyone away: It was instantly a top video Youtube and many discussion forums. When I saw it my jaw dropped; their moves are so sick. They do a lot of popping, which is a dance technique of quickly contracting and relaxing muscles to cause a rigid jerky movement. This crew is highly skilled and has a great chance to win the tournament.

I wish I could dance like them. If I had that skill instead of walking, I’d dance everywhere. I’d carry a boombox with me and whenever a crowd would appear I’d set it down and start popping. Alias, one of the many skills I lack.
This has to be one of the worst ideas I’ve ever seen…I was browsing the Internet, taking a break from reading, and saw a picture of a crane with a dining table attached.
That’s right…a restaurant 150 ft. above the ground…It seats just 22 people and comes complete with a waiter with a nice tuxedo to serve you. Also comes with roller coasters seats that don’t look very comfortable.
So how does the company make money? They drive the crane to anywhere in Europe for only $20,000. What a deal! What better way to spend $20k than have an uncomfortable, tense meal attached to a crane?! The food must be great too…it’s not cooked there, so it’s obviously not fresh. Who ever came up with brilliant idea must be proud, and I give props to any one who can waste that kind of money on dinner. Maybe they divided the price among the guests? Only $1k each!
A few months ago I decided to save some money and build my own computer. After a few weeks I had all the pieces and was so excited. The computer was working alright…I could use the Internet and basic apps, but only 1 GB of memory was working and I couldn’t use my vid card. So I thought the RAM was bad and bought some new RAM, but of course that didn’t work. Then I figured the HD was messed up, so I bought a new HD. That didn’t work either…I tried to fix Vista with updates and eventually decided to go back to good old XP.
So I tried to install XP and the computer just wouldn’t work. I have no idea what’s wrong with it, but last week I saw a good deal and took advantage.
Dell was having a $300 off $999 deal, which they have fairly often. I got the Inspiron 530 with the Q6600 (quad-core power :)), a 24″ monitor and the rest pretty basic…I’ll just take some RAM and the vid and sound cards from my failed computer :(. I paid $810 shipped and it should be here early next week. If I sell the monitor i could probably get another $350 back and sell the other parts on the old computer. Oh yeah, I also get a pretty good warranty.
So if you’re in desperate need of a good computer, wait for a good deal at dell.com and get some value for your money!!!
