I lived most of my life in Houston. I thought it was the best city. Once I got out to really see the world and I mean living in other cities for extended amounts of time, I came to realize that Houston doesn't even come close. I visit Houston often because I still have a bunch of friends there, but I would never live there again even though its my hometown. Quality of life in Houston, just doesn't compare to other towns, including some of those on the list. I think you're submerged in Houston and can't see the forest for the trees. Ignorance is bliss I suppose. Northside.

As a native of Chattanooga and a resident of Huntsville I feel I can speak on two of the cities.

Chattanooga a stupid name? It is of "native American" origin roughly translating to "rock coming to a point". Ever see Lookout Mountain? You would understand if you have.

With respect to Huntsville, it is not or was not Jose Canseco's hometown. He did play pro baseball here in 1985 for about a half of a season. Actually Houston is a wannabe Huntsville with respect to the space program. The space program was born in Huntsville and continues to thrive here with one of three main NASA centers, Marshall Space Flight Center. Huntsville is home to minor league pro baseball and minor league pro hockey.

Obviously the author has his own agenda (humor?). He needs to maintain humor since he lives in Houston, a true cesspool!
