Always Somebody Better or Taller.

Previous Tallest Guy: Bao Xishun

New Tallest Guy: Leonid Stadnyk

Just when you thought you were the best at something somebody better shows up, and rubs it in your face.
I saw an article yesterday about the world’s tallest man. Apparently, it isn’t that Asian guy-Bao Xishun; he was on the news, just a few months ago, for being the tallest guy in the world. I thought nobody could out-tall him, but I was wrong. Just just goes to prove that there’s always somebody better- in this case taller. Oh well, at least Bao can say he did something useful with his height: He saved a two dolphin last year by using his extremely long arms to reach into their mouths, removing some shards.

It’s pretty ridiculous that Bao Xishun got his height outdone; he is 7′ 9″ Feet tall. The new guy-Leonid Stadnyk- stands 8″6′ Feet, which is 9 inches taller than the previous tall man champion–Bao Xishun. Next year watch out for a guy that’s 10 feet tall to RICK ROSS Leonid.

This guy should give me a bit of his height; it’s my goal to break 6ft at least :’(. Unfortunately, I’ve…

Arguing Online.

Published by UltraYeah under Rant

Argueing online

Arguing online is pretty much pointless, especially if you’re going against the majority. No matter what you say in their eyes you’re always wrong; Logical reasoning will be rebutted by hate.

I remembered why I only lurk on forums; my posting usually leads to arguments. Yesterday I wrote an article Law 101: Ebay and posted it in a M3 forum. After I wrote it I looked into the actual Ebay listing and realized what my article was wrong: The guy shouldn’t be able to get the car. My post was FOR the guy, but I argued against him on the forum, because I found the additional information. The majority of the forum hated on me, because I argued against him. It was like the guy was their hero, and I was the evil villain. It’s not a surprise that those people have closed minds and didn’t take my post serious: The internet is full of ignorant people that will hold on to their views even to the grave. Especially in those M3 forums, where people are too busy circle jerking each other to listen to other people’s ideas.

They went

Dumbest “Sport” Ever: Paintballing

Published by NO under Rant

Who pays to get shot? People that love to paintball! Sure it doesn’t hurt, but it seems to me to be one of the dumbest things to do. Some of these guys are so obsessed with it that they will spend hundreds, if not thousands of dollars on gun and suits. And don’t forget they have to pay for CO2 tanks and the brilliant paint balls.

I can picture it now: Some guy in a trailer park is bored after picking up his check from McDonald’s and is sick and tired of not being shot at. He wonders for hours on his couch surrounded by his 15 kids all named Cletus with Jerry Springer blaring in the background and has it! He will fill balls with paint and tell some one to shoot him. Brilliant!

Not only does the paying to get shot thing get me mad, but the fact that these guys think they’re tough! Paintballing has fewer injuries than tennis, golf, and bowling. Bowling! The next time you have $20 laying around, please don’t go paintballing. If you’re so desperate for a shoot out go to the hood. I’m sure you’ll have plenty of company, and it’s free too!

Pointless Classes

Published by UltraYeah under Rant

I really feel that some classes that I’ve taken and currently taking are completely useless.  Basic knowledge- like spelling- is important, but should our tax paying dollars go to teaching kids things like how to type? I’ve taken a keyboarding class back in middle school; it was probably the most pointless class ever. I really should have taken Spanish instead of that class. I feel that the majority of my classes I took only because I needed it to get into college or fulfill a class requirement. For instance, I took Texas history in 7th grade; now if you ask me anything about Texas History I wouldn’t remember.  I want to say 90% of the classes I’ve taken, I could have just taught myself by using Wikipedia. I’m glad all those bullshit classes are almost done, I finally get to take things like Financing and Accounting-the topics I’m interested in.

I just needed to get this rant out of my system, because I just wasted one hour on a pointless assignment; I could have learned more staring into the sky, than doing it.

Frustrated with the Court System.

Published by UltraYeah under Rant

Austin Capital

I have to do a research paper for my business law class. It requires me to attend a court hearing and identify a legal issue. The paper has to be 4-10 pages long, so I have to find a case with substantial legal substance to write about. Apparently, I went to the wrong court two different times. The first time, there were no hearings that took place and the second time the only cases were traffic violations. Even with my amazing bullshit skills, there would be no way for me to write 10 pages about running a stop sign. It turns out today that I’ve been going to the smallest courthouse in Austin. I really feel like I’ve wasted so much time, and I haven’t even started the research yet!

I made the mistake of going to the wrong court, because of two reasons. First being, the County Court’s website is so hard to navigate that I’d be better off reading a phone book. Second reason is that I didn’t take the initiative to find the right court myself: I relied on my partner’s knowledge of courthouses, and subsequently wasted my time.

I really

Karaoking Fun.

Published by UltraYeah under Rant

 Karaoking

A few weeks ago, I went karaoking for the first time and I absolutely loved it. I’m the type of person that likes to sing songs everywhere, so it wasn’t much change when I got a mic.  From what I’ve heard, karaoking is an Asian thing. Well, I want to tear down that stereotype and get everybody involved. Karaoking really builds confidence: What better way to break the ice, than singing in front of a crowd? Also, it’s an activity that people of all ages can be involved with. If you haven’t tried karaoking yet, I really encourage you to bring some friends to experience it; time will fly by, because ya’ll will be having a ball.

Karaoke was so fun, that I decided I want to start a karaoke bar. I definitely have to plan everything out before I know for sure. But right now I’m pretty excited thinking about the potential. The location will be on the street closest to my school; that’s my major selling point, convenience for the everyday student to karaoke! I know the rent will be insanely high, but I think I still can make a profit or break even…

Blog Progress part1

Published by UltraYeah under Rant

p1.jpg

I started this blog started on the 23th of February; now it’s the 15th of March and I’m getting around 300 unique visitors a day. I don’t have any paid links anywhere, nor have I done pay per click advertising. I’m getting most of traffic from Google organic, because I have over 400 pages indexed: I write about a very broad range of things and Google is showing me love by indexing for those keywords. However, the main key to this success is the feed subscribers and the returning visitors. Thank you guys for making it possible!

Right now I’m making $0 dollars with this blog: The server and various website work cost a lot. I’m also losing money because of the opportunity cost of running this blog: I do PPC marketing and that requires a lot of time. I’m not going to give up though, because I definitely see potential in this blog. Making a blog is like paying for college: At first it’ll cost a lot of money and seem hopeless. But if you keep working hard you’ll eventually recover any lost opportunity cost and have higher potential for earnings .

If you guys were wondering what

TAG sells $100,000 Shower

Published by NO under Rant

After covering my Audi in silver I decided I needed something else to spend my fortunes on. I found just the thing in TAG’s $100,000 shower. The shower has 18 heads at different streams and pressures based on the point of your body. It was designed by professional shower…people and is supposed to be like a massage. I don’t think I want my shower to put me to sleep before work in the morning. Hey, at least it’s not as bad as the Nintendo Virtual Boy…yeah, I used to have on of those…

Welcome to the Internet

Published by UltraYeah under Rant

The Internet

The internet is a place where anybody can be whoever they want; it’s where dreams are fulfilled and fortunes made. But on the internet, it’s so easy to lie and be somebody else: You’re just one keystroke away from being a billionaire, and one copy and paste away from being a model. Never could afford a Ferrari? Don’t worry, just pretend on the internet you own one. On here, that’s almost as good as the real thing. The fact is, you can’t really trust what a lot of people say online: There are more liars than honest people, because lying is a whole lot easier. For instance, I outsourced data entry work to a guy from the Philippines. He said he used all the money to fix his village orphans’ homes, so I was more sympathetic toward him and gave him more money. Well apparently, he outsourced the work I gave to him to another person, who was a big asshole. That person ruined my creditability’s by putting profanity and nonsense into the data. When I confronted the person, I originally gave the work too, he…

Soulja Boy Yahhh: A Joke?

Published by NO under Entertainment, Rant

I love hip-hop, from Run DMC to Gangstarr to Tupac to Lil Wayne and everything in between. I listen to it in the car, before I sleep, and while I study. But it just keeps getting worse and worse. I was browsing BET’s 106th & Park’s page to find some new music and started laughing at all the new artist’s names and song titles: “red monkey jeans”, “umma do me”, “dey kno”, Dolla, Shawty Lo…

When you’re reduced to writing a whole song about a brand of jeans something is wrong. I really miss the days when they would actually talk about something, and I always go back to listening to the good old music.

What set off this rant? Soulja Boy’s new music video…I downloaded his album a while back and heard the songs, and had a good laugh. But to see it made to a music video? With 5 million hits on Youtube?! You’ll laugh at first, but this is just a disgrace to a lost art…
