Paypal Database Hacker

Published by UltraYeah under Rant, Tech

This is probably one of the funniest things I’ve seen in a long time. I highly doubt there is a program like this that works: Paypal has their database on lock and theres no way some lame ass program like this would come close to hacking it. If it was that easy I’d be retired right now and sitting by the beach sipping a margarita.

This program reminds me of movies that have fake programs to do crazy things, like in Die Hard 4: They had a computer program that shutdown the power grid.

Yeah.

Things I Hate v.ATT

Published by UltraYeah under Rant, Tech

ATT

ATT is without a question the worst service ever. They have an incompetent service staff and the most annoying automated voice message system. It usually takes me 20 minutes to pay a bill, which is absurd. They have so many different phone numbers and all of them lead to the same stupid voice system. I called tonight to try to pay my freaking bill over the automated message phone, but it wouldn’t let me: I was directed to the billing department and it was closed. Then I called to try to speak to a live person and that took almost 20 minutes. The representative was really rude and extremely unhelpful. I asked for the direct number to pay a bill and she couldn’t find it. GREAT, you work at ATT and you don’t know their numbers. It turns out you can’t pay your bill over the phone unless the business offices are open. I don’t get it because you pay over an automated system, why would it matter if it was during business hours or not.

I’m really fed up with ATT. If you want the worst service possible- my parent’s ATT service is always broken- or just want horrible support, ATT might be the right choice for you. Apparently, their network is so large they don’t need to care about customers. When I signed up last year, I bought the modem because there was a rebate on it. After persistent inquiries about my rebate, I got the it four months later. After this year I’m definitely cutting my ATT DSL service and getting RoadRunner cable. Although, their pricing is competitive, I rather pay more for better customer support.

This is absolutely ridiculous. I’m so angry right now that my eye is twitching.

DON’T GET ATT, YOU WILL REGRET THEIR SERVICE.
YEAH.

How to Lose Money v.Dynamic Name Servers

Published by UltraYeah under Online Marketing, Tech

Yesterday I looked at my traffic and something didn’t seem right. After some investigation I found that I was sending traffic to broken pages; it’s a very depressing situation when you pay for the traffic. Needless to say this is a great method to lose a lot of money.

My sites weren’t completely broken, but every other refresh would display “Server Not Found”. This took me a very long time to figure out: First I thought it was the A Records for the DNS, so I changed all my websites’ A Records. Few hours later I was encountering the same problem; that’s when I figured decided to check my nameserver that the site was hosted on. Apparently, it had expired last month and was on redemption period. That would explain why the server wasn’t found, but why was it still occasionally working? DNS records are really complicated and can be masked behind other DNS records; it’s like a map to your website and the map can have different routes to your website. The main routes to my website were expired, but there were other smaller routes; therefore, you could get to my website by taking other routes.

The compenion notebook will have two LED panels that slide into each other:

The canova notebook features two touch-sensitive screens and can be used as a regular laptop, e-reader or sketch pad:

The siafu notebook for the blind will create 3D shapes representing websites:

The cario notebook can be carried like a briefcase, set up like an easel, or placed on a car’s steering wheel. When driving it can project images on the windshield. Dangerous!

The solar laptop has an extra panel of solar cells to be powered by the sun.
