I love Scrubs

Published by UltraYeah under TV

Scrubs is about the life of three interns and one nurse at a hospital. You might be thinking LAME, but there’s always something going on in the hospital that makes it interesting; I watched one season without stopping and that’s more than 5 hours.

If you have seen Scrubs, you should definitely check it out. Not only is this a hilarious comedy, but it also has plenty of drama. And dont’ think it doesn’t do them both well. It’s comedy scenes are second to none, and the drama sometimes makes me tear up. :’(
The best thing about Scrubs is it’s 7 seasons long; if you can’t get enough of it, there’s plenty to watch.

Yeah.

True Life v.Internet Life

Published by UltraYeah under TV

The reason I love watching True Life is seeing how badly people’s lives are. I might be a masochist, but it makes me feel better watching people ruin themselves. Every True Life episode is a blast, because they’re all about people with some type of problem; there isn’t True Life MY LIFE IS AWESOME! Even if there was, it wouldn’t be fun to watch. If you guys haven’t seen it, watch it on MTV.com.

The latest True Life episode is about people who have a second personality online. One girl is a wannabe pornstar online, another is a sex fanatic, and finally one is a guitar player on second life. The first girl-Judy- has a website postlapsaria, where she does her blog posts and porn shoots. There’s a few things I want to rant about her site. First, she has almost zero visitors that go to her site, which is very sad considering she started it almost two years ago. Second, the website layout isn’t anything to be proud of. Third, she says trying to make a living off her website, but I can’t see her making more than two…

911: The Bronx

Published by NO under TV

I just saw this show tonight on the Discovery Channel and have been watching for about an hour. It’s based in the ER of a hospital in the Bronx, New York. It is basically constantly full and they only show you the most serious injuries.

So far I’ve seen a guy die of a heart attach, be brought back to life, and try to fight the doctors. A man bite his wife’s ear off, break her arm with a bat, and jump 5 stories and survive, but get really messed up. A kid break his ankle to the point that the foot is facing the wrong way, and the doctors point it back the other way.

If you love action, drama, and have a strong stomach this is a great show.

Best Show on Cable: ‘Deadliest Catch’

Published by NO under TV

deadliest catch

I started watching the show “Deadliest Catch” on the Discovery Channel a couple weeks ago and I’m hooked. It is a reality show in the Bering Sea aboard 5 fishing boats with 5 different crews competing for the biggest catch of King and Opilio Crab.

These guys are out on the extremely dangerous Bering Sea almost all year fishing. You can imagine they are a rough bunch of guys, and are very entertaining. They are always fighting and yelling at each other, and always getting into danger. This is really inevitable with the high seas and dangerous winds that they must fish in. There has even been a death on the show.

“Deadliest Catch” has everything you want in a TV show and Discovery does a great job of getting you to really know the characters and get attached to them. You pull for the mistake-ridden “greenhorns,” get mad at the boat captain’s sons, and feel so happy and relieved when one of the men is plucked from the freezing Bering Sea in an emotional, exciting rescue.

The show is the top rated cable nonfiction series, has been nominated for numerous Emmys and…

Sara is alive!

Published by UltraYeah under Entertainment, TV

Here’s a whopper for all you Prison Break fans. Fox has just announced that Sara is STILL ALIVE and will be reappearing in season 4, set to air in September. Prison Break is famous for killing off main characters, and they have even gone so far as to circulate rumours about possibly killing Scofield, the mastermind behind the “prison break.” But when Sara died early in season 3, many angry fans wrote letters to Fox, prompting them to decide to bring her back.Letters

Personally, I think the show is in need of some more hot female characters, so I’m glad she’s returning. Any Prison Break fans out there? Leave us a comment and let us know what you think.

My Sweet 16.

Published by UltraYeah under TV

If you guys have ever seen My Sweet 16 on MTV, then you realize that some people are way to spoiled. This show is about 15 year old kids turning 16 and throwing outrageous birthday parties; most of the parties cost over $100,000. It gets me thinking, how do people afford to do this? They have a new show every week and it always gets crazier: Little kids getting new Mercedes as their first car. Really, how do their parents afford that kind of stuff?

I wonder if MTV actually pays for part of the party, or maybe not. Anyways, it’s really ridiculous that there are so many rich people out there that can do these kinds of things. A new episode every week = 52 episodes a year! The average business undergrad makes 50k a year and MBA 100k. If you want to be able to throw a ridiculous party for your kid, you better be a doctor or own your own business.

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia

Published by UltraYeah under TV

Best comedy TV show ever. It’s the only one that can make me actually laugh. I watched Family Guy, The Office, and Futurama, but none of those shows compare to It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. The show airs on FX and is on its fourth seasons, which will air this fall. I can’t wait for more episodes, because I watched all three seasons in 2 days!

This comedy is based on 4 friends that own a bar and their adventures in Philadelphia. The best part about this show is that common sense is missing from all the character’s brains. With that element missing, the things they do can get really interesting! None of the actors are famous-outside of this show- except for Danny DeVito, but they do a great job at being funny.

If you like Seinfield, this show is 100X better so check it out!

Heroes Show

Published by UltraYeah under TV

Heroes TV show

If you ever wanted superpowers, you’ll love this show. It’s about a bunch of average people discovering they have extraordinary powers; some of them have the power to stop time, go through walls, shoot lighting and the list goes on. The story line is setup like the movie Crash: In each episode there are different people that share different stories. Heroes doesn’t have linear story telling; although, all the segments relate, each character has their own story. After watching a few episode you’ll be addicted. It’s hard not find your favorite Hero and watch every episode he’s in. In a sense, this TV show doesn’t have one plot; it’s has a bunch of storylines about different heroes, but in the end they all one common motive-to save earth.

Definitely give this show a shot
; if you’re like me and get addicted easily, you’ll end up finding yourself watching every episode from start to finish.

Living with the Mek Tribe

Published by NO under TV

Living with the Mek Tribe is a show on Travel Channel about to British explorers that live with tribes in West Papua Guinea. It is an amazing show and I’m watching some of the show’s marathon today. The tribe they live with has never seen Westerners and have really kept their ways of living for possibly 9,000 years. It is almost unbelievable that that is possible in this day in age, and it is great to see how people lived so long ago.
