If you like your comedy mixed in with occasional moral values, Futurama is the show for you: It takes some of the issues in today’s life, and puts them into context in the 30th century. This show is about a delivery boy in the 20th century, that doesn’t fit in with society. One night during a delivery, he gets accidentally frozen into a capsule. Eventually, he gets unfrozen, only to awake in the year 3000. The first two living things he meets are a Cyclops and a robot. The three of them eventually become friends and pilot an intergalactic delivery ship. That’s the basic four sentence summary.

The main thing I like about this show is how it can be comical in one scene, but in the next is very sentimental; some of the episodes display the power of friendship and love. The unique combination of those two values makes Futurama definitely worth to watch.
