I love hip-hop, from Run DMC to Gangstarr to Tupac to Lil Wayne and everything in between. I listen to it in the car, before I sleep, and while I study. But it just keeps getting worse and worse. When you’re reduced to writing a whole song about a brand of jeans something is wrong. I really miss the days when they would actually talk about something, and I always go back to listening to the good old music.

What set off this rant? Soulja Boy’s new music video…I downloaded his album a while back and heard the songs, and had a good laugh. But to see it made to a music video? With 5 million hits on Youtube?! You’ll laugh at first, but this is just a disgrace to a lost art…
